Its a similar process to that used on our embossed White Metal furniture, you can find numerous examples of this furniture in our Indian furniture shop in Brighton (111 Gloucester rd, BN1 4AF) or at www.irisfurnishing.com. This Brass sideboard was 87cm high x 125cm wide x 45cm deep and cost £840.
This large bespoke sideboard with cupboards and drawers was ordered for a customer in Hove. Below you can see the drawings he sent in as part of the design collaboration with Iris. The customer selected some of the photos from the web site and other photos that we had emailed him and then put together the brief you can see below. The sideboard was a large 180cm in width with two large drawers above four cupboards, with a shelf halfway up each cupboard. These sideboards are laminated in a nickel alloy and are more often embossed by hand importing traditional Rajasthani patterns onto the metal. When they are left smooth the result is this striking chrome look which is reflective and very contemporary. The mirrored surfaces work well with most modern interiors. We can order these sideboards in any size for you please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01273671443 to start your bespoke order.
If you like the idea of matching the colours and patterns on complimentary items of furniture we can make this a reality for you at Iris. Whether you wish to recreate the pattern of an existing item in your home, or if you wish to order two or more matching items we are happy to assist you with this. These two matching items were ordered for a customer in Hackney and were of course painted by the same artist, at the same time, in order to ensure a close match in colour and pattern. If you have an item at home that you wish to copy the pattern of, you can email images to email@example.com and we can forward the images to our artists in Rajasthan to recreate your favorite patterns on new bespoke furniture.
Frank and Steph also ordered this Sideboard in White Mother of Pearl for their shoes. It was to go in the same narrow hallway of their apartment in Paris. If you scroll to the right in these images you will see the sketches we worked from. The sideboard had removable shelves in the cupboards and was less deep than our usual mother of pearl sideboards to give them enough space in their hallway, but also keeping their shoes out of sight. We agreed on the specification with these very simple sketches below. We can work from basic sketches like these as well as more professional drawings if required. If you would like to order something similar please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01273671443 to talk to someone in our Brighton shop.
This sideboard has been hand painted in the "Black Romany" pattern found on our web site here The customer loved the colour way and pattern so requested we applied it to this bespoke sideboard. She also requested that there be no shelves in the cupboards as she wished to store large vases and lamps inside. We invite customers to order Painted furniture in any pattern that they choose from www.irisfurnishing.com - and our artists in Rajasthan can apply the same pattern to your bespoke item. Please email email@example.com or call 01273671443 to start your bespoke order process.
This sideboard was designed by Rehana, a customer who is based in Rugby. Its unique as a special process is used to dye the bone pieces before they are inlaid onto the sideboard. Dimensions are 75cm high 100cm wide x 45cm deep (£1095.) We have recently commissioned a much larger version which is 200cm wide. If you would like to order something similar, you can change the colour of the bone pieces, or indeed the background colour (which is White in this example.) Please email your preference to firstname.lastname@example.org.
